What is RUSP?
RUSP is a distribution unit for construction sites designed for safe connection, distribution, and protection of electrical equipment.
I need a custom configuration. What should I do?
System Power manufactures RUSP according to a custom technical specification. Available parameters include rated current from 32A to 120A, enclosure protection from IP44 to IP54, floor or wall mounting, and custom socket/protection configurations.
Which component brands are used?
Base configurations use IEK, TDM, EKF components. On request, ABB, DKC, System Electric, Schneider Electric, and other brands can be installed.
Can I buy RUSP immediately?
Product cards list partners and distributors where equipment may be in stock. If available, an order can be processed the same day.
What is the standard RUSP configuration?
The standard set includes the RUSP panel, door keys, product passport, wiring diagram, and certificate of conformity.
Where is System Power equipment manufactured?
All System Power distribution units are manufactured in the Russian Federation.
Can RUSP be used outdoors in winter at -40°C?
Yes, with UHL1 version and heating. System Power produces RUSP in fiberglass or galvanized steel enclosure with powder coating, IP65 protection. A thermostat and low-power heating cable (50-100W) are installed inside to prevent condensation. Circuit breakers rated for -40°C operating temperature. Not recommended below -50°C without additional insulation.
Which RUSP is suitable for welding machines? Circuit breakers keep tripping.
For welding stations, RUSP should include: 1) Main circuit breaker with D-curve (or with adjustable trip delay); 2) Separate D-curve breakers and Type A RCD for welding socket groups; 3) Voltage monitoring relay with 5-10 second restart delay at the input. Standard C-curve breakers are not designed for welding inverter peak currents up to 150A.
Can RUSP be moved by crane between construction sites?
Yes. System Power supplies RUSP in a block-box (shelter container) with a welded channel frame, 4 eyebolts (frame load capacity 5 tons) and sling lugs. Lighting panels and power cabinets are pre-installed inside. Simply attach to 4 points for safe relocation.
Can energy meters be installed in RUSP for each contractor?
Yes. RUSP can be equipped with multi-tariff meters Mercury 230 ART or Energomera CE303 with RS-485 digital interfaces. A GSM modem is installed for daily transmission of hourly load profile archives to the customer server. Data visualization via personal account and SMS notifications when power limit is exceeded are available.
How to ensure electrical shock protection with poor grounding at a construction site?
System Power RUSP is available in two versions: TN-C-S for stationary substations, and TT for temporary circuits with poor grounding quality. In TT mode, the input device is equipped with selective RCD (Type S) with 300mA trip setting, and branch lines with 30mA RCD. This guarantees disconnection on enclosure fault even with high ground resistance.
What is RUSP (mechanization panel) used for?
RUSP (construction site distribution device, also called mechanization panel, socket cabinet, portable distribution panel) is used for: powering construction and repair sites, connecting power tools; powering equipment at industrial facilities during repairs or installation; providing connections at events (concerts, festivals); supplying power to multiple points: garages, car services, garden plots, pumps.
Where is RUSP NOT recommended for use?
RUSP is not recommended: for connecting equipment whose total power exceeds RUSP capacity; in areas with open access for children or passersby; if the panel lacks electrical shock protection; in networks requiring continuous parameter and energy consumption monitoring; in chemically aggressive environments; in areas with high probability of deformation or falling objects.
What are typical mistakes when choosing RUSP?
Three most common mistakes: 1) Wrong main RCD power rating — panel cannot handle the load or trips without cause; 2) Wrong number of sockets — actual number of connected devices not accounted for; 3) Choosing the cheapest option without handle or stand — complicates portability and installation on uneven surfaces, panel loses stability.
How is System Power RUSP better than regular alternatives?
